Tom Rattigan

Group Production Director

As Group Production Director, Tom leads client engagements from scope to launch. As a Certified Scrum Master and PMP, he brings a high level of efficiency to projects, allowing for design and technical exploration while respecting budgets and schedules. Tom’s key engagements include Scientific American, Engadget, Hudson Institute, Quantcast, and New England Journal of Medicine.

As a graduate of the University of Colorado, Tom holds a degree in Economics and Philosophy but pursued neither. He stumbled into digital production and never looked back. Before joining AREA 17, Tom worked at Ideas on Purpose, where he was involved with all aspects of production and account management.

Tom is a native New Yorker, and though he spent time living in a few other states, the lure of the big apple was undeniable, and back he came. He is a music lover and endlessly searching for the latest in indie and electronic sounds. In contrast to the fast-paced New York lifestyle, Tom meditates daily. Whenever possible, he enjoys hiking and rock climbing.
