As a Designer, Paul (he/him) approaches his work as a search for fundamental truths and guiding principles. Influenced by his love of Swiss typography and Motion Design, Paul creates novel forms of visual communication grounded in rational and functional design sensibilities.
Before joining AREA 17, Paul led the design department at a digital product studio in New York. There, Paul designed, built, and scaled a variety of digital products and solutions. Through working directly with engineers, Paul gained valuable experience with frontend languages and a passion for reducing the gap between designers and developers. An upstate New York native, Paul studied Graphic Design at Southern New Hampshire University before moving to Colorado Mountain College to complete his degree. Primarily self-taught, Paul’s professional background has become the cornerstone of his design knowledge and expertise.
When he’s not designing, Paul enjoys finding creative outlets that connect him with nature, keep him active, and help him discover new places and experiences. An avid snowboarder, Paul frequents mountains in New York, Vermont and Vail, Colorado whenever he can.
