As Engineering Director, Gilbert leads the technical development and applications architecture choices. He joined AREA 17 in 2010.

With his expertise and 25 years experience, he implements solid and high-performance technical solutions using his broad knowledge of languages, technology and DevOps skills. He owns a Masters in Information Technology from Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, CNAM, and a Masters in Software Engineering.

A true sports buff, Gilbert plays tennis regularly, with or without his two sons. He is also trying to pass on to them his passion for computer science.
