As a UX designer, Aimee is interested in bridging user engagement with strategy, while improving the digital experience, particularly for platforms serving the arts & culture space. In her UX research and projects, Aimee analyzes how users interact with digital platforms, while also supporting strategic goals and measuring digital success.
Before joining AREA 17, Aimee’s graduate studies at Pratt Institute and her experiences working with Brooklyn Museum and the Cooper Hewitt Museum drove her passion for observing and understanding users’ behavior and engagement. Before moving to New York City, Aimee served as an art director at a digital advertising agency in Shanghai, working with various international high-profile fashion brands like Balenciaga, Brioni, Loewe, and Nike.
Aimee is from Shanghai, a modern city with gourmet Chinese cuisines. In her spare time, she likes to make delicious, authentic food and visits international markets to explore their ingredients. She also loves to travel and experience different cultures along the way.
