Kenneth Kariuki

Associate Engineering Director, Care

As an Application Engineer, Kenneth is passionate about quality, performance, security, and user experience. His key engagements include Pentagram, Aspen Ideas, Fondation Louis Vuitton, International Energy Agency, The Century Foundation, and Wyss Institute. Kenneth is a firm believer in continual growth, research and is always seeking out new technologies to assist with product development.

Kenneth studied Computer Science at Kenyatta University Nairobi. He began his career at Farwell Consultants, where he built INUKASME in partnership with the Kenya bankers Association. This E-learning portal empowers micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), thereby enhancing their access to bank financials. He also built a portal for AMLA (African Mining Legislation Atlas) in partnership with The World Bank to provide comparative data and aid investors in decision making. This was followed by a stint at Squad Digital, where he led the technology team for Safaricom. While there, Kenneth also worked on several products to digitize the insurance process at UAP Old Mutual.

Kenneth currently lives in Nairobi, Kenya. He loves watching football, movies, taking a swim, and playing FIFA games with friends outside of work. He also actively stays informed on the latest developments in technology and politics.
