Production Director

As a Production Director, Jesse manages projects from scoping through launch and beyond— transforming budgets and schedules into exquisite digital products. For Jesse, communication is king, be it a tenet of design or as means for facilitating the best cross-team collaboration. To date, his key engagements include The Getty, Harvard Art Museums and Intersection.

His interdisciplinary background spans multiple industries, from small cultural nonprofits to a global Fortune 500 company, with a focus on project and account management roles. Before joining AREA 17, Jesse was the Client Services Director at exhibit-E, a design and technology firm whose niche clientele spanned large and small galleries and institutions of the fine art world. He studied Comparative Literature, French, and Japanese at Middlebury College.

Born and raised in Hawaii, Jesse left paradise for the east coast in 2007. Ever the outdoorsman, Jesse loves to hike, camp, fish, or just relax on the beach. He's an avid reader and a self-proclaimed "pretty good" ukulele player — just don't ask him to sing!
