Pat is a Product Director, ensuring the disciplines of design, engineering, and branding combine to produce highly effective digital products. A seasoned product lead, Pat directs interdisciplinary teams from discovery through launch. His experience balancing user insights and business return has led to deep client relationships throughout his career.
Prior to joining AREA 17, Pat worked as a Senior Strategist at Purpose, building social movements through participatory platforms and breakthrough storytelling. Pat saw his work at Purpose take him from the Midtown offices of global non-profits to the green hills of Rwanda, all the while driven by a thirst to immerse himself in his projects. Prior to Purpose, Pat worked as a senior account executive with Cone Communications' Social Impact discipline in Boston. With experience across corporate and nonprofit sectors, Pat has led projects for multinational clients including Unilever, the Rockefeller Foundation, UJA-Federation of NY, Hilton Worldwide and FedEx, among others. An investigator at heart, he began his career as a reporter and creative director of a startup creative agency in Boston.
A resident of Bed-Stuy, Pat spends his free time alternating hikes through Brooklyn and his beloved Adirondacks. His greatest pride may lie in his tolerance for the city's spiciest foods, and he will most certainly show you too many pictures of his cat, Indy.
