As a Senior Producer, Nickie enjoys tackling challenges by finding solutions with her cross-disciplinary teams to ensure process and delivery are both successful and enjoyable. In her partnerships with clients, Nickie finds that the best route to success is to empower stakeholders through solid communication and accessible information.
Prior to joining AREA 17, Nickie produced a multitude of digital campaigns and experiences at Stink Studios over a five year tenure. She sought projects with a philanthropic message and worked with clients such as the Ad Council, Memorial Sloan Kettering, and the Equal Justice Initiative. She also worked with technical giants such as Google, Facebook, and YouTube on everything from micro-sites to multi-year long strategic engagements. Early in her career, Nickie used her English degree from The University of Florida to intern at NYLON magazine, publishing articles for the editorial department. She went on to join the sales team as Assistant to the Associate Publisher, her literal door into advertising.
When Nickie isn't running meetings or writing emails, you can find her either playing bass with her band at any Brooklyn venue that will book them, or hosting and DJing her monthly Bushwick Emo Night. A Florida native with roots in Pennsylvania and Boston, Nickie spends most of her free time traveling the east coast with her partner Kirby, along with their two adorable dogs Roxy and Petunia.
