Kyle Goines
Senior Interface Engineer
As Senior Interface Engineer, Kyle finds inspiration through curiosity, inspiring clients, teamwork, and collaboration by working with like-minded people to build beautiful and functional products. Key engagements at AREA 17 include the Museum of the American Revolution, VCA Dance Reflections, Wyss Institute, and Roto Group.
Kyle has a BS in interactive media and graphic design from Fitchburg State University in Massachusetts. In Boston, he interned at a small animation studio, for whom he redesigned the current website, leading him to a career in development. Kyle honed his coding skills at agencies such as Athletics, Sullivan, and Hill Holiday. Kyle led the front-end team to rebrand AccuWeather, implemented the Pulitzer Foundation’s design, and re-imagined the Brown Universities alumni experience. His projects have won two Webbys, including the flagship site for the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA), as well as an application for connecting agencies to freelancers, Connector.
Outside of work, Kyle enjoys illustrating, reading, self-publishing small comics, and playing board games. As a new-ish pet owner, he spends most of his time taking pictures of and talking to his adopted senior cat, Lucy.
