Annecy, France, April 15, 2008 — Salomon Sports is a leader and global icon in the domain of mountain sports. Salomon was born in 1947 in the heart of the French Alps and the birthplace of modern alpinism.

Salomon engaged AREA 17 to help design a global framework that would work across all their existing (somewhat disparet) websites, while allowing a unique experience for each vertical-based website - freeskiing, snowboarding, running, racing, women and apparel. Today the new framework launched for apparel and will continue to be released through the next year for the other verticals.
